The Garden State Parkway RV restrictions state that an RV that weighs over 10,000 pounds or is greater than 45 ft in length is prohibited from using the Parkway north of exit 105. Cars towing a trailer or camper cannot park at the Garden State Parkway if the total length exceeds 62 feet .
5/15/2021 · RVs are allowed to travel on the Garden State parkway if they do not exceed 10000 pounds in weight and are not longer than 45 ft. Some are as low as 8 feet. I would caution you however that in the Irvington area approx 140 mile post there are some low overpasses.

4/8/2017 · Posted March 27, 2017. On the GSP the weight restrictions are for commercial vehicles. Motorhomes and travel trailers are consider personal use type vehicles and are permitted the full length of the parkway provided you meet the bridge height on the northern part. Also tow dollies are not a permitted .
5/10/2010 · Specifically the GSP (Garden State Parkway) allows motor homes with tows the full length. The no trucks rule is as stated eleswhere for Commercial Vehicles only and does not include Buses, Motorhomes, RVs etc. Do be careful inthe section between Exits 120 and up around 141 or so as there are a few low bridges if you are in the outer lanes.
