When adjusting the freeze timer and setting up the ice bridge thickness, it’s important to set it at the appropriate thickness depending on the model. Below are the various thickness measurements by model. ICEU, ICE0250 and ICE0305—3/16” (5mm) ICE0400 and Larger Units—1/8” (3 mm), Ice-O-Matic. Like most manufacturers, Ice-O-Matic requires service to be performed by a licensed technician. A. The cubes should have a 3/16” bridge between each cube on all 300lb machines or smaller, and 1/8” bridge for all other size machines. To increase or decrease to that thickness you need to adjust the timer accordingly.
To thicken the ice bridge , you need to do the inverse task as above – for Koolaire, Ice- O – Matic , and Hoshizaki, you’ll need to adjust the water lever sensor lower, so your machine goes through more water before it begins to harvest the ice.
